THAI has paid special attention to the needs of premium Royal First Class passengers, with personal hospitality graciously extended by an experienced, dedicated crew. All passengers are welcomed onboard with a glass of vintage French Champagne before settling in to enjoy award-winning inflight dining. Airbus A380 seating 12 lie-flat suites, 9 lie-flat suites on refurbished Boeing 747-400’s whilst remaining 747’s feature lie-flat shell seats converting to flat beds with individual ottomans. Enjoy a la carte dining with four gourmet-style meals, Dom Perignon, French wines, Cognac and caviar, flexible meal timings and In addition to our regular menu passengers may pre-select from as many as 22 route specific meal options for a more personalised dining experience. All Royal First Class passengers are entitled to 50kgs check-in luggage allowance.

THAI’s business class, Royal Silk (business) Class is more than a concept, it’s a promise of perfection in service, with unique THAI touches both on the ground and in the air. Our Royal Silk Class offers maximum privacy in luxurious shell seats where you can stretch, rest, work or be entertained.
Royal Silk Class seating on Boeing 747-400s and 777-200/300 aircraft feature a bed length of 76″ (193cm), 60″ (152cm) pitch, 167º of recline for sleeping, state-of-the-art entertainment systems which include large format touch-control screens offering a wide selection of films, documentaries and music, and with telephones and power outlets in each seat. Seating on THAI’s state of the art A380’s, Boeing 777-300ER’s and Boeing 787’s feature the latest lie-flat beds with 15″ personal screens and the latest in in-flight technology and features in a 1-2-1 configuration ensuring everyone seat has aisle access. THAI recently won ‘Best Airline Business Class 2014’ by TTG Travel Awards. All Royal Silk passengers are entitle to travel with 40kgs of check-in luggage.

Long-haul Flights in Comfort with New Aircraft:
THAI is pleased to announce the introduction of A380 services to London effective 01 Jul ’15. The A380 already service both Frankfurt and Paris daily as well as Tokyo and Osaka. Many other destinations throughout Europe are now being served by the latest Boeing 777-300ER’s such as Brussels, Oslo, Copenhagen, Stockholm and Zurich. The latest Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft are now serving Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and Perth daily. The new aircraft all feature the latest in inflight products and services ensuring an improved long-haul flight experience for all customers.
There are eight Premium Class lounges at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport plus the luxurious Royal Orchid Spa for Royal First Class or Royal Silk Class passengers.
Royal First Class Lounges
THAI’s Royal First Class passengers departing Bangkok are met kerbside by personal porters who will assist them through priority check-in and fast track immigration clearance to the Royal First Class Lounge. Amid these luxurious surroundings, Royal First Class guest also have a complimentary, full service restaurant serving exquisite Thai and international cuisine and private dining areas. Slumber rooms, shower suites and mother-care rooms are available. From here, passengers will be transferred by electric vehicle to the departure gate for last-minute boarding.
Royal Silk Class Lounges
Royal Silk Class passengers have their own exclusive check-in lounge and access to fast track immigration channels. Once in the departure area, the airside lounges provide full facilities for relaxation, refreshments or work including internet stations and free Wifi. A buffet bar with a variety of food, snacks and refreshments is available in all lounges while some lounges offer slumber rooms, shower and a child play area for the little ones.
Royal Orchid Spa
The Royal Orchid Spa Lounge is part of the exclusive lounge facilities available for THAI’s premium passengers departing from Suvarnabhumi Bangkok International Airport. For Royal First Class passengers, there’s a “Touch of Silk” full body massage using traditional techniques with pure herbal essence aromatherapy oils, Jacuzzi and tropical rainfall shower. To clear all stress and tension before or after a long journey, our Royal Silk Class passengers can enjoy a traditional neck and shoulder massage or meridian foot massage. Hot and cold herbal drinks and healthy snacks are also available
